While we did offer a pre-order on these originally, we were sure we'd have more sets available for those who did not take advantage during the pre-order window. 

SICMA 1.5 Die Set    $430

These are in transit to us from Germany and due to arrive next week. With the holiday, this may be the following week - the first week of December.

SICMA 2.8 Die Set    $430

These are scheduled to arrive in mid to late December. We are doing everything possible to ensure they land at our door and can be shipped to you before the end of the year but with the holidays, shipping delays, and customs there are some variables we cannot control.

Placing an order from the quantity we make available before they arrive will ensure you receive a die set from the first shipment. Orders are NCNR, please see our Terms & Conditions.

IMPORTANT   If you are purchasing both die sets, the order will automatically be marked to ship partial. Your order will have a second shipping charge added for when the 2.8 Die Set arrives as it will be treated as a separate order. If you are an international customer or would prefer to ship complete, you must put OK TO SHIP COMPLETE in your order's notes at checkout. If this is not present, the order will automatically be shipped as described above and you will be responsible for the second shipping charge.

Product Details

The applicable connectors have two terminal sizes, making the application based around a hybrid connector. For this example, the 1.5 terminals will be considered the 'small' terminal and the 2.8 terminals will be the 'large' terminals. The ampacity is different for one vs the other, and a large effort in designing these to bring a perfect product to market was ensuring each terminal size could adequately cover a wide range of wire sizes. This is most specifically for the PMU applications and based on feedback we received over the last year. 

A great value add there is that the larger terminal bucket support will more easily allow the crimp termination to serve as a splice, saving space and reducing build time - just make sure you calculate your CMA!

As an Authorized Rennsteig Distributor with a direct line of communication to their headquarters in Germany we we have worked together to bring a new die set to market exclusive to Race Spec® that was designed specifically for 55A0111 or M22759/32 wire. The die set is compatible with all both SICMA 1.5 and 2.8 terminal sizes, with nests for 16AWG, 18AWG, 20AWG, and 22AWG wire.
