The use of this H22/F20B/H23 cam trigger kitallows you to change from the factory Honda mag sensors in the distributor to a more precise digital signal using a Hall Effect sensor. A Hall sensor is the required input for almost all modern ECU's including AEM, Motec, Haltech and others. Many aftermarket ecus read the Hall signal much better than they do the oem signal from the distributor. A lot of times you'll notice a smoother idle & much smoother power at high rpm.
OurHonda VTEC camtrigger bracket and modified cam gears also allows complete removal of the factory distributor when a multi channel CDI box & individual coils are used. If you want to keep a single channel ignition box & the distributor, then this setup can still be used.
These signals are on the input side of the ecu, while the ignition system is on the output. Any combination of ignition box/coils will work. The standard kit consists of 1 Crower cam gear that's been machined & custom fit with rare earth magnets installed in it and the billet sensor bracket. As always, we are available for any technical questions regarding installation and tuning of this product.
The Dual Pole hall sensor is included! (this single sensor will serve as a cam and a crank sensor!)
